So yes, TPJC.
My first week here is rather....bored.
Basically, this week we dont have any proper lessons, so we are just attending lectures here and there, and the rest is all our free time.
We only got to know our class today, on friday, so before that was with OG group all along.
TPJC is not as bad as i think.
I was use to think that TPJC will be like alot of malay and indian gangsters hanging around, try to knock you down when you are off guard, but it seems i am wrong.
I dont care if the teacher was good or not, since study is all depending on you, but from the school environment, i see that the students although some are not really into studying, but there is really no "bad" guys here, all of the students are pretty friendly and welcome us with open arms, even when we are moving from place to place and they met us on our way, the will clap and cheer at us, so i guess its not really bad after all.
We dont really have an "orientation" thingy, but there will be a JC1 orientation camp somewhere in march, so yea, look forward to it.
As i say, the school was pretty quiet, alot of study places, you can see a lot of students studying at tables all over the school.
This will be the place where i spend most of my time in for the next 2 years.
Im not really disappointed, and i have to say i have a better idea of understanding people from other races, Malays are friendly people actually, and very loyal.
Today, we met our new classmate.
I was in the class 10S16, it means year 10, science stream class 16.
There are 8 art classes and 28 science classes, wth -_-
AND!!! my class!!! got 26 people!!! and!! ONLY 6 GIRLS!!!
Its like wth la, 26 girls 20 boys, and 5 malay/indian and 21 chinese.
I dont know if its good or bad, but i definately want more girls in my class. =(
I ask around and found the situation to be the same for other classes too, looks like all the girls go to art stream.
Haiz, sian ar.
And my subject combi...very the wierd...
H2 chem, econ, geog and H1 math...
My friend all say im more like an art student.
YES!! I RATHER BE IN THE ART CLASS WHERE ALL THE CHIO BU GO. xDD
Then i found another of my classmate also from china de, so i think i can be friend with him ba, in fact, i get along with most of them, they all seems pretty friendly.
And guess what i sign u as CCA?
From NCC... i decide to join.....
GUITAR ESSEMBLE!
Xiao right? but i really like guitar lor, and my mum can get a free guitar for me so... why not?
I guess guitar, music and books are going to occupy my life instead of computer and TV, which is good.
And tomorrow is finally weekend, going to bring my 3 cousin for an outing to wild wild wet, and then at night need chiong to NCC reunion dinner, so ill be quite busy tomorrow, and i still have to pack up my things as i need to move house on sunday so i can have a better sleep on monday =P
Going to move to tampines where my hosue will only be 1 bus stop from TPJC, like a 10 mins walk.
Guess thats good, since most people tell me time is money in JC life.
So i am ready, to start my official JC life next week.
Bless all those who are in the same shoes as me, and see you guys in uni. ^^
